Galungan: celebrated as the commemoration of the victory of "Dharma" Virtue,upon Adharma (evil) derived from the mythologi "Mayadenawa",the Demon King when involved in a war againist God Indra's troops.One this day a tall bamboo pole (Penjor symbolizing prosperity) decorated with cococnut's leaves and flowers, fruit,cake etc stuck on every house entrance and make a marvelous sight along the village roads.Troughout Bali.
